• Lift Capacity: P=5+3 TN = 8 TN
• Rail Distance: 2m+1.45m with two cantilevers
• Gantry Height H=7078mm
• Rail frame HEA 240
• Runway Length: L=45m
• Travelling speed: v=1-2m/min
• Hoist speed: manually
• Traversing trolleys movement in two independent parallel beams.

Our company undertook the responsibility to solve any technical obstacles that would emerge during the construction phase of the project. The time limit was short as the crane should be fully functional and certified by TUV Hellas S.A. in 23 days.

TECHNICAL OBSTACLES EXCEEDED

• Limited planning period
• Very Limited construction period.
•  No specific center of gravity of the lifted load.
• Very limited time for movement and assembly within the Parthenon.
• Extremely adverse weather conditions,( rain and strong winds).

Our experienced chief engineer Stefanos Afentoulis undertook the responsibility of executing this project due to the historical and cultural importance of the monument of Parthenon. The crane is fully functional, performing all the necessary reconstruction works inside the walls of Parthenon that have been destroyed during the Morozini bombing in 1687.
